Cirrhosis is a late stage od scarring of the liver caused by many forms of liver disease and conditions, such as hepatitis and alcoholism. Each time your liver is injured – whether by disease, excessive alcohol consumption or another cause – it tries to repair itself

Symptoms –

Fatigue

Easy bleeding or bruising

Loss of appetite

Nausea

Swelling in your legs

Weight loss

Itchy skin

Jaundice

Ascites

Redness in palms

Menopause in women

Breast enlargement and loss of sex drive in men

Hepatic encephalopathy

Risk factors –

Too much alcohol use

Overweight

Having viral hepatitis
