DESCRIPTION

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow – spongy tissue inside bones where blood cells are made. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia most commonly affects older adults. There are treatments to help control the disease.

Symptoms –

Enlarged lymph nodes

Fatigue

Fever

Abdominal pain

Night sweats

Weight loss

Frequent infections

Risk factors –

Older adults

Family history of blood and bone marrow cancers

Exposure to chemicals

Condition that causes excess lymphocytes
