SPECIMEN REQUIERED –

COLLECT - serum separator tube

SPECIMEN PREPARATION – transfer 1 ml of serum to transport tube

STORAGE/TRANSPORT TEMPERATURE – frozen

STABILITY – ambient: 24 hours; refrigerated: 1 week; frozen: 3 months

UNACCEPTABLE CONDITION – plasma, grossly hemolyzed specimens
